Please note that our drop-in recones do not include shims or glue. 

If you are uncertain about the reconing process, we recommend reaching out to us for guidance or sending in your subwoofer for professional service. 

Installation Guidelines for Your New Drop-In Recone: 

For shimming, we recommend using regular printer paper, trimmed and stacked. Be sure the paper is not overlapping and that the shim is snug, but not too tight. The coil needs to be able to slide up and down without resistance.  

For adhesive, we suggest using our specialized glue kit. 

Prior to installation, ensure the dust cap’s glue surface is roughened, and clean the frame thoroughly for optimal adhesion.

Processing Time: On average, your order will be completed within one week. 

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. No further updates will be sent until the order is finished, at which point you will receive an email with tracking information. 

Important Warranty Information: We are unable to provide warranty coverage for DIY recone assembly issues. Our warranty is limited to the labor we perform. Manufacturing defects in the kit itself are our responsibility, but the installation process is entirely the customer’s responsibility (including issues such as ticking, rubbing, or broken components). 
 
**Drop-in recone kits are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Please double-check that you are selecting the correct model, version, and parts before placing your order.
