These custom recones are for the Resilient Sounds Platinum.
You must have the stock basket for these to fit properly. If you have a different basket, or want to buy a different style of basket, please contact us before placing an order. We can build custom recones for your exact sub/motor combo. We do have baskets with a 10″ spider landing for sale that work great with the Platinum motor.
Our custom recones are built with high-quality glues and upgraded soft parts including an American-made coil.
Our drop-in recones do not include shims or glue.
If you are not 100% sure about reconing, please ask us or send your subwoofer in.
Pointers for installing your new drop-in recone:
- Regular printer paper trimmed/stacked to spec works great for shimming. Use enough where it is snug but not so tight you can barely get the coil in the gap.
- For glue, we suggest using our glue kit.
- Make sure to rough up the glue surface of the dust cap and sand and clean the frame beforehand.

It will take on average 1 week for your order to be completed.
Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. No other updates or emails will be sent until your order is completed at which point you will receive an email with tracking information.
We cannot warranty DIY Recone assembly issues.
We can only stand behind the labor that we perform.
Manufacturing defects in the kit itself are our responsibility but installation is 100% customer responsibility (this includes ticking, rubbing, broken parts, etc.).
